Brian Sherwood is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church. He and his wife, Dorothy, met at Seminary in Texas and have two beautiful children. Before sensing a call to full-time ministry, Brian worked in the wholesale gift industry for eight years. Prior to coming to First Baptist in October 2015, Brian served as Pastor in Bluffton, SC and as Associate Pastor in Glenn Heights, TX. His formal education includes a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.
